2. Actual User Experience
✅ Smoothness: The smoothness of Cloud Water V2 Switches is on par with the Lightning Puff Switch – reaching the "ultimate" level. The pressing process is free of stutters or burrs, with an extremely silky feel.
✅ Sound Performance: Compared to the Lightning Puff Switch, Cloud Water V2 Switches produces a crisper, louder sound without a muffled feel, delivering the beloved "mahjong sound" among enthusiasts with satisfying tactile feedback on each keystroke.
✅ Hand Feel: Although labeled as 42g, thanks to the TEC gold-plated spring, the actual pressing feel is not as heavy as expected (may also be related to recent use of higher-weight switches), with a moderate hand feel.
✅ Appearance & Compatibility: Cloud Water V2 Switches features a fresh and natural color scheme with excellent visual effects (the actual product looks far better than the casual lock-door photos taken). The optimized stem and bottom design solves the common "burst chrysanthemum" and "big butt" issues of TEC switches. Tested on three different keyboard kits and four sets of keycaps, it performed smoothly with excellent compatibility.
