Complete Keycap Cleaning Guide
🔧 Tools You'll Need
- • Keycap puller
- • Soft-bristled brush
- • Isopropyl alcohol (70%+)
- • Microfiber cloth
- • Compressed air
- • Mild dish soap
- • Small container
🔄 Simple Cleaning (Without Removal)
- Turn off and unplug your keyboard
- Use compressed air to blast away loose debris
- Dampen microfiber cloth with isopropyl alcohol
- Gently wipe keycaps using circular motions
- Clean between keys with soft-bristled brush
- Let dry completely before use
🔍 Deep Cleaning (Full Removal)
- Use keycap puller to remove all keycaps
- Prepare warm soapy water solution
- Soak keycaps for 15-20 minutes
- Scrub individually with soft brush
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water
- Air dry on towel for 24 hours
- Reinstall using keycap alignment chart
